2013 - Trucks know no bounds!

Jai and his truck/cars have become one.  Whether it is his "mater" tow truck or all his little sports cars they are always at least 2 in each of his pockets.  I have learned the hard way that I must always check his pockets before I put his pants in the laundry...or when we are leaving school or.... a friends house. He has become quite the kleptomaniac!

Day 139 - Nangu (Nungoo)

This evening after dinner and before baths Jai went nangu!  That boy loves being naked just as much as he loves eating dog food, which I would have to say is quite a bit!

Right after this picture was taken Laila pushed Jai and he fell a little bit, and I kid you not 6 peices of dog food fell out of his mouth!  He's like a chipmunk,squirreling away food for a rainy day!

Day 109 - Here's looking at you!

This afternoon after naps we headed to the park.  Laila and Jai are so happy when we are at the park, the swings are their favorite.  I wish I had taken some pictures to capture their happy smiles but alas I had left the camera at home.  I promised them that I we would go back to the park on Friday so I will take some pics then.

I did find some sweet pictures of Jai Jai from February so I am posting those to ease my guilt!

This is pretty much a normal site now, if there is not dirt in Jai's mouth 

I start to think something is wrong!  Is that strange??

Day 101 - My Little Tornado

I can always tell where Jai has been in the house.  And it is not because I have some sixth sense it is much more of a visual thing....

Of course he looks all sweet and innocent...

Couldn't possibly get into any trouble...

And then he strikes! 

And now the innocent bystanders are left to clean up the mess!

Day 99 - True Love = Our Backyard

Since the weather has been so nice I have been keeping the back screen door propped open.  The babies and dogs have loved being able to come and go as they please.  Jai is one happy cat when he can be outside, the same can be said for Laila too!  I have two planters, less the plants, and they love scooping the soil out and distributing it all over the deck and into dogs water and food bowls.  Usually they finds some sort of utensil that can used to stir up some kind of delicious muddy concoction.

But what get's Jai the happiest is when he is able to sneak outside when the dogs water bowl still has water in it!  He loves pouring it all over deck or just himself.  If Jai and Laila aren't playing in the dirt they are enjoying a snack or throwing a tennis ball for Saahib.  It makes me so happy that Spring has finally arrived and now that Jai is older he is able to enjoy the outdoors along with Laila by his side. 

These pictures capture Jai at his finest!  The last one is my favorite, seeing his adorable little footprints!

Just goes to show it is the simple things in life that bring the most happiness!

Day 95 - Oh the days of Spring

Jai was introduced to the hose today....needless to say it was a good day!  It all started innocent enough and then things got a little out of hand.

 

Obviously it was a good day!  Thank goodness Spring is here!

Day 84 - Happy Birthday Party Jai

We had Jai's 1st birthday party this morning.  We did a brunch party and it was perfect!  Of course the birthday boy was asleep for most of it, but everyone else really enjoyed themselves.  I have found the key to any successful party....balloons.  They make all the kids extremely happy...hats also do the trick.  As long as you have those two items you are set.

Jai loved opening his gifts, his two favorite gifts were a big bouncy ball and a little toy you push and of course it makes a lot of noise.  He is a boy through and through.  It was a bit hard for Laila to resist opening his gifts.

Overall it was a very successful birthday party and I had so much fun watching Jai enjoying the attention.  He is the sweetest thing ever!

Day 61 - Gone Swimming

Today Heidi started a bath after dinner like normal. While Dad, Heidi and I were chatting about something, Jai was busy crawling around and investigating as usual.  Laila was going potty she started to say, "Momma, Jai Jai get in?  Momma, Jai Jai get in?" so we mosied into the bathroom and we were surprised to see Mister Man, in the bath tub, fully clothed. He was just sooooo happy with himself!! That is the Jai that I know, he can never resist some water...from the toilet bowl, to the bathtub!
