Day 129 - Pretty Pretty

While at mom's house we enjoyed the beauty of her backyard. All of her plants were beginning bloom and I got some great pics.

Enjoy!

Day 125 - 128 Our Trip to Wichita

The kids and I had a wonderful time in Wichita visiting Grandma Sue Sue and going to Katie's wedding.  There are a TON of pictures in this post so get ready...

Once we arrived in Wichita and the kids had taken a nap we went to the Eastborrow Neighborhood park, this park has a really nice jungle gym, the park also has a beautiful pond and lots of wildlife.  We saw baby turltles, baby geese and a few baby ducks.

 Mama and her babies

On Thursday morning Mom, Laila and Jai and I went to Tangyanika Wildlife Park.  Laila and Jai really liked the baby bunnies and watching the Leemers eat cranberries out of Grandma's hand. The goats got a hold of Jai's blanket and Laila had to rescue it for him!

Baby Goats, just wanting some love

 Mama and her baby
Fluffy bunny, they were so sweet and friendly

 Peek-A-Boo!
I think this is a Llama, but I am not totally sure.  He does look friendly though, doesn't he!

On Friday morning we played outside and waited for Scott, Jen, Marin and Jillian to arrive.  It happens that eating dirt is a favorite pasttime of the baby boys in our favorite.

 Miss Marin

Marin has the sweetest temperment, she loves everyone and is so much fun!  She is a love bug!

 And just as cuddly

Miss Jillian, seems like she has grown into a big girl overnight!

Jillian and Laila were pals all night long!

This was so sweet, Marin just kept smiling at me and looking straight at the camera and giggling.  It was precious!  I only wish Laila would do that for me!

 Uncle Scott and Baby Wilder

Katie's reception was lots of fun and the kids had such blast running around and seeing all that there was to see!

Jai was so tickled with himself and loved climbing the highchair
He got in there all by himself, we looked away for one second and looked back and there he was!

I love my Grandma and my thumb
Josh and I got a pick after he had been strutting his stuff on the dance floor, he has got some serious moves.  He also tried to hit on my good friend Katy Sullivan, I think they had a connection.  Katy will only have to wait about 20 more years for Josh to catch up!

Lastly, this morning while we had everyone together we snapped a few family pics.  I can't believe how much our family has grown in just one year!  Babies, babies everywhere!

Jason and his family
 Scott and his family

All the grandkids, I think this is the best picture.  I love how all the babies are sooo unhappy!  Priceless!

Day 123 - Getting ready to visit Grandma

This afternoon, after we picked Saahib up from the vet(turns out he just had some intestinal agitation and is A-OK!!!)  we headed home to pack up our life so we can go visit Grandma and attend my cousin Katie's wedding.  From the moment Manik brought the suitcases home from storage Jai and Laila were obsessed with them!  They were completely entertained while I gathered this and that from each room.  I feel like I am packing up our everyday lives and stuffing into two suitcases.  I know it is going to be a pain putting it all back!

I am really looking forward to visit because on Thursday we are going to Tanganyika Wildlife Park.  This park is AMAZING, you get to pet Red Kangoroos, see Giraffes inches away from you and feed Lemurs cranberries from you hands!  It is really an amazing park and a wonderful experience.  We went there last summer but Laila and Jai were still quite young, I think this time Laila will understand much more of what is going on around her.

SUPER CHEESE!!

A much happier mama now with all my babies safe and healthy in their beds tonight!

Day 122 - Update on Sabibo

I thought for sure when I took Saahib to the vet this morning that he would be for sure going into surgery.  But I was, thankfully, very wrong.  Dr. Johnson palpitated his tummy and couldn't feel any rocks or hard objects and Saahib never gave any indication of being in pain.  As a result the Dr. Johnson gave the big guy some medicine and anti-inflammatory meds and a few hours later Saahib started eating!!!  The doc thinks that Saahib may have had a blockage in his intestines or just a small infection.  He will know more tomorrow morning if Saahib has either thrown up or pooped.  We will hope for the latter.

As for the kiddos, today was a good day.  They both had school today and then we ran a few errands after.  Once we got home Laila, Jai and I took a little walk.  It was the first time the three of us had all "walked together" rather than having in Jai in the stroller or being carried.  Jai was so cute trying to run after Laila or holding my hand and taking in all that was going on around him.  We also walked quite a distance and Jai kept up really well.  The best part of the night was before Jai went to bed he went around and gave everyone huge wet open mouthed kisses.  It was wonderful!!

As Arjun would say, how can you turn this face down!

Day 121 - Dreary Rainy Day

This was one very rainy and cold May Day and to top it off Saahib is sick again.  I am almost positive has swallowed another rock so first thing tomorrow morning we will be making a trip to the vet. The poor baby just can't get comfortable and keeps changing positions, I can tell he is in a lot of pain.  So please say a quick prayer he can survive another surgery.

Not a happy mama,
