Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas!  Jason, Elizabeth and Wilder came to visit us in addition to my Mom and Dadaji already being here!  All the kiddos were in heaven having so much attention and so many new toys to play with!  Here are a few pics from the last few days!

A few days before Christmas we made Rudolph's and the kids the antlers with their hand prints!  They turned out so cute!

Jai was saying "cheese", but this was as close as I was going to get of him sitting still!

Wilder finding lots of new hiding spots in the kitchen.

Turns out our kids love cheese and bread just as much as we do!  They didn't eat a lick of their dinner and chowed down on Brie, Blue Cheese and some other delicious cheeses!  They come by it honestly!

Day 348 - Here's looking at you & the Park

I just love those soulful eyes and chubby fingers.  I can never get enough.

And Miss Thing is just trouble, no two ways about it!

On Saturday we took the kids to the park, there was still lots of snow on the ground but it was gorgeous outside.  We had a blast!

Day 345 - Fun play, Christmas and Norah

This week we all have been recovering from the common cold, unfortunately it has been all to common in our household since Thanksgiving!  I am so happy that the sniffling and runny noses are at an all time minimum!  As a result we have been spending a lot of time at home and the kids have gotten creative with their games.  Their newest game with Dadaji is called "Lazy Catch", Dadiji sits on the stairs and the kids sit in one of their comfy chairs and they just toss the ball back and forth.  This is become a daily occurrence!  Laila Jai have also received some new markers from the Advent Fairy so there has been alot of coloring going on.  Markers and crayons had all but disappeared because there was alot of coloring going on that wasn't on paper.  Hopefully they have outgrown that faze!

Just some fun pics I got of Laila and Jai

Jai was putting Laila to bed, on a box.  very comfy.

And of course this will go in the record books!  Yep those are her panties!  At least they are clean!

We thought it was pretty funny, and she was thrilled when I wanted to take a picture!

We also shipped Arjun off yesterday to spend Christmas with his Mama.  He was happy to be going home and, now Manik and I need to learn how to cook smaller portions while he is gone.  I never have to worry about making too much because AJ will devour everything!  There are never left overs!  Before he left we celebrated Christmas with him.

Lastly, this evening we babysat for my sweet friend Brooke.  Her daughter Norah is six months old and beautiful!  She reminds me so much of Laila when she was a baby!  I just love this little girl, she loved watching Laila and Jai run around and do their thing.  Laila and Jai loved her as well!  We had a good time watching Miss Norah!
Norah and Saahib hit it off right off the bat!
 Kiss Kiss!

They could be sisters!

She just couldn't resist Manik's beer!  It was priceless!

Day ?? - Its been way too long!

Dadagi arrived a week ago today and it has been awesome having him around.  He is a wonderful help and the kiddos adore him.  I have been conducting interview for Love My Sitter, which is doing great!  I am so happy to report I have my first client and my first job last Friday!  Manik's business is also doing well, the store is almost complete and last week Manik and his supervisor hired half of their staff, they will hire the rest of their staff this week!  It is a very exciting time around here not to mention Christmas is less than two weeks away.

Manik's restaurant has come a long way quickly!

I have to report that our Advent bags are a big hit and the kids love finding out what Cecelia the Advent Fairy left them.  Usually it is a piece of the Nativity Scene or a small present.  Also Christopher Pop-In-Kins, our friendly elf from the North Pole arrived this morning and Laila and Jai were thrilled.  Tonight when I went to kiss Laila good night she said, "Mom, I wonder where that elf is going to be tomorrow, I hope he doesn't leave and go back to the North Pole".  She just melts my heart!

We also got our Christmas tree on Saturday!  It is tall and beautiful and smells wonderful!  Laila and Jai also got a small tree for their room!  They love it and all the ornaments, which have slowly been disappearing.  Thank goodness they are plastic!

And last but not least some wonderful pics of Dadaji with Laila and Jai!

I

 Jai clearly was not impressed.
