This afternoon Laila and I drove to Colorado Springs for one of my oldest friends baby shower. Laila was a peach and I love having her with me. She makes a wonderful companion and is so delightful to have around. It makes me proud that she behaves so well and is polite. I wish I could take credit for this but I just got lucky that this is her natural temperment.
After a brief rest we headed over to Chad and Laura's house (Chad is one of my brother's best friends) for a grill out. We all had a wonderful time and I am so grateful to be welcomed to Denver by such sweet and good people! I think we are going to LOVE it here!
